These projects started the same way. Getting the thing to run on a Mac was difficult, and the interface it came with was poor — when it came with one at all.
So I reimagine them. That is the part I enjoy: playing with the interface, adding the features I keep wishing were there, and following an improvement as far as it will go rather than stopping at the minimum.
What I take on varies. It depends on what is bothering me, or what I need at the time. The one thing every project here has in common is that it is software I wanted for myself — and I use all of it.
